Summary of system features
system description
standard Our basic sound insulation system. Average acoustic insulation at the level of a 12 cm thick brick wall: 44 dB. In the higher frequency range, it is not significantly inferior to more expensive systems. However, it performs poorly in the low frequency range, so if you can hear booming bass behind the wall, we recommend a higher-class system. Saves space – thickens the wall by only 5.5 cm.
prime A very reasonable proposal for sound insulation targeting frequencies from 160 Hz to 1 kHz. Slightly more expensive and thicker than the basic system, but significantly more effective in the frequency range from 160 Hz to 800 Hz. With a weighted average sound insulation of 47 dB, this system provides 1.4 times better sound attenuation compared to the cheapest system.
premium The cheapest option with a double, acoustic plasterboard. Above average effective in isolating very low frequencies, while maintaining good effectiveness in the higher registers. A true golden mean when it comes to the ratio of the system’s thickness (7.8 cm) to its overall effectiveness.
superior Master of high-frequency isolation – there’s no better system for frequencies from 1000 Hz and up. Its effectiveness is proven by the fact that it provides over 10 dB more isolation compared to the cheapest system, meaning it offers more than 3 times the effectiveness.
superior+ Our most effective sound insulation system. Very effective in isolating mids and highs and excellent in the low frequencies. The insulation factor of 56dB means that it is 4 times more effective than the cheapest system.
